The first, New State of Indiana Requirements, address the color-coded counties referenced in Governor Holcomb's address last week. In that document, there are links to pages with the County map and descriptions.
Those of you holding indoor training/games, need to review this and will probably need to connect with your local health department with your plan to be approved.
The second, Imperatives..., is an updated document. Please review in its entirety.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Thank you, keep safe!

Out of State/Hotel Stay Tourney Protocol
Impact SC understands that not every family is comfortable with traveling or staying hotels. Also, we understand that not every state is aligned with the Stage that Indiana is currently. Between the State and the CDC, hotels are a high risk level and we feel during this Fall season, we will take precautions to ensure that we keep our players and coaches safe.
Please see the Hotel Stay Protocols in the Current Updates section above.

As we begin to phase in our return to play, please prepare to implement the following return to play protocols along with local health professionals, infectious disease specialists and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines. April 3rd, Noon
Indiana Soccer hosted a meeting to explain the current situation as it pertains to Indiana Soccer sanction activities. Competition Update:
Indiana Soccer has suspended League play and Cup play this Spring as of 4-3-2020. Further they have suspended sanctioned activities until the Governor’s shelter has been lifted.
Impact Soccer Club is still sifting through the requirements, having discussions with ISA and learning the details. We will let you know more later. We really are hopeful that once the Governor’s shelter has been lifted, that we can get out to salvage what we can to this Spring season to play games and train further.
Right now, we are going to wait to see what Indiana Soccer sends our way April 17, host a Board Meeting on April 19th and give you an update on April 20th. We ask for your patience as we react to the information that is given to us in hopes to give you, our Impact SC family, thoughtful and detailed plans moving forward.

March 29th, 9:30pm
Impact SC held their Board Meeting tonight and sectioned off a Reassessment Meeting as well.
Gathering information from the Club Directors Meeting March 23rd, a few breakout meetings with ISA and other Clubs across the state and following the the Indiana Soccer Announcement on March 26th, the Board feels informed and educated to make a decision.
Please note, we are balancing the information and guidelines from the CDC and the Indiana Governor with Indiana Soccer Return To Play date. Indiana Soccer has a RTP date of April 15th, however, the CDC has a restriction that lasts to May 1st. This is aligned with Governor and our schools that wont allow return until at least May 1st. https://covid19.healthdata.org/ has a Covid 19 peak date of April 14th, which is only one day before Indiana Soccer's RTP date.
With all the uncertainty, Impact would like to weigh on the side of caution, but stick with ISA's schedule for now. However, we will confirm closer to the April 15th date as to whether we train on April 15th or May 1st. Right now, with the stats and the Indiana/Federal Governments, it looks like it will be May 1st.
For now, we will follow ISA's date, but reassess again on April 10th.
Will are optimistic to play May/June and enjoy a delayed Spring season. Please continue to train at home, be involved with your team meetings and homework. Coaches are very active behind the scenes and with their teams

Indiana Soccer update 3/26/20 2:30pm
Indiana Soccer held a video conference with the DOC's of the state to release information about league and cup play as well as internal procedures and guidelines. No new information that pertains to our return to play has changed. Indiana Soccer is still holding to the April 15th Return To Play date. The biggest note to take is that the Spring Season, as it stands, will be extended through June 28th with Tryouts starting on June 29th.
Notes from ISA:
The Directors are contacting coaches with any new and important team specific information then Impact SC coaches will be contacting teams with more information as things get closer to the RTP dates.
Impact SC will release another Club update, Monday March 30th.

March 23rd
INDIANAPOLIS — Governor Eric J. Holcomb delivered a statewide address today to order that Hoosiers remain in their homes except when they are at work or for permitted activities, such as taking care of others, obtaining necessary supplies, and for health and safety. The order is in effect from March 25 to April 7.
“The next two weeks are critical if we are to slow the spread of COVID-19, and we must slow the spread. You must be part of the solution, not the problem,” said Gov. Holcomb.

The 3/13/2020 update announced the suspension of league and cup activities and the strong recommendation to suspend soccer practices and play through April 2nd. Email from George Perry, ISL Commissioner
All,
I am sending this out to all of the teams' contacts that we have in gotsoccer.
Teams that have games within this period WILL NOT have to submit a support ticket to postpone the game.
The teams are responsible to try to reschedule any games (through a support ticket, using game # for each game) that are postponed during this period. There will be no change fee.
If the circumstance presents itself to reschedule a game with a team who is out of your area, you need to move another game with a local team, we will not charge a change fee for that game either.
Feel free to share this information with any members of your club.
Please reach out to me if you have any questions.
Thank you,
George

March 12th 2:00pm
Hello players, parents and staff,
Impact Soccer Club needs to exercise caution and be mindful of the situation surrounding the Corona Virus.
Landscape in sports and events:
We have had our soccer tourneys cancelled for this weekend. Incrediplex has notified us that all areas and open play is cancelled except our training tonight. Couple that with the NCAA, BigTen and NBA cancellation and major restrictions, we are in need to revisit our stance for Club functions.
Incrediplex after today:
All events, training and games will be cancelled at Incrediplex until further notice. Impact will contact Coaches and then families when we can train again indoors.
Thursday Training at Incrediplex:
All teams training tonight is open. Coaches have been notified to make training optional. We have organized some Club precautions to take when gathering for training.
Club Precautions:
• Make training optional.
• Limit the amount of extra people in attendance. Try to just have one parent/guardian pickup/wait/drop off.
• Parents bring extra hand sanitizer fir all players to use often at training sessions, especially before and after.
• Reduce touching and no hand shakes, no high fives, fist bumps if necessary. No team break downs.
• Limit large gatherings.
• Be smart and try not to touch face, especially nose, mouth and eyes.
• Wash clothes, gear often and immediately after you get home.
• Wipe down high traffic areas like door knobs, steering wheel, handles going to and from practice.
Coaches, please contact the Directors, Bobby Holden and Matt Mayhew for approval of any additional training planned outside of Incrediplex. We need to error on the side of caution. Between the Health Department and the CDC, we need to take this situation serious. If it turns out to be not as bad as anticipated, we only missed out on a few training sessions. If it turns out to be as serious as it seems, then we did what was right, at the right time.
Things to do away from training.
• Download Techne and log some skill time.
• Send tactical homework home to team.
• Email skill work homework to team.
• Create a juggling or soccer move text thread with team.
• Play FIFA.
• Watch a match on TV.
• Organize a push-up or sit-up challenge with your team.
• Spend more time with family.
We understand that this is an inconvenience for most who have a passion for the game in look forward to the next training session or tournament or match. But in this day and age things like this are unpredictable and it is always best for an organization to error on the side of caution.
I hope that all of you enjoy your spring break or take the time to spend time with your families. And as always, thank you for your support in the club and for supporting our mission of positive youth development in a safe environment.
Sincerely,
Chris Steeno
